Vist from Grapevine - August 2010

West Lothian Council invited a delegation form Grapevine to visit in August.  They arrived on Friday 20th - headed by Council Woman Sharon Spencer, with P W McCallum, Doug & Lorri Evans, John  & Niga McGrane, Curtis & Linda Ratcliffe, Jim & Lindle O'Neil and Catherine Lecroix making up the rest of the delegation.

A busy programme included dinner at Beecraigs on Friday, a trip to St Andrews on Saturday, followed by a Bar-B-Q at Almond Valey Heritage Centre

Sunday'sa schedule included Sumerlee, Bo'Ness Steam Railway and Kinneil House.

On Monday, meetings with counterparts in West Lothian were followed by dinner at Howden Park Centre and a visit to the 60th Edinburgh Military Tattoo in the evening.

After a free day on Tuesday the delegation travelled north to Gelncoe and Gelnfinnan on Wednesday, stopping for a fish supper in Calendar and briefly visiting the Wallace Monument in the way home.

The delegation toured West Lothian's attractions on Thursday, ending up with a farewell dinner at West Lothian College.
